Hardwicke Cricket Club History
Hardwicke Cricket Club was founded in the 1980's. Then a small village, Hardwicke has grown into a large and widespread estate.
We run several teams playing on different days throughout the season. We are a friendly, well organised club, with ambition and are looking to increase our membership by recruiting existing players or those willing to learn.
We have our own ground in Hardwicke, with excellent facilities located at the rear of Hardwicke Village Hall. We have invested heavily in the playing wicket over the years and have one of the best cricket squares in the area. We are currently looking at moving to a new ground due to the increased membership and teams.
About Our Club
The club runs regular training & coaching sessions, so if you're a little rusty we can help you get back into shape. Look out for announcements on this site or in the local press for training days. Winter nets for seniors normally begins the first Monday in February at The Crypt School Glos from 19:30.
We have a good selection of playing kit so you don't need your own equipment to get started. Transport can be provided for training and on matchdays if required.
We also have a good social calendar!
The club has its own Constitution which forms the rules and regulations for every member. The running of the club is by committee
